What’s happening?
The system is unable to transmit electronic invoices to the Brazilian government (Sefaz) due to an error stating "Unable to find the digital certificate". This prevents the transmission of electronic invoices, significantly impacting business operations and causing delays in product shipments.
Reason:
This is typically caused by incorrect or expired key vault parameters, such as the URL and secret. It can also occur if the key vault is compromised due to a mismatch of encrypted keys during an upgrade.
Resolution:
To resolve this, follow these steps:
- Verify and Correct Key Vault Parameters:
- Ensure that the correct key vault parameters (URL and secret) are entered.
- If the key vault was compromised or broken during an upgrade, re-enter the correct details.
- Renew Expired Key Vault Secret:
- Check if the key vault secret password has expired.
- If expired, generate a new secret password in Azure - Corporate Application Manager.
- Allow Cache Reset:
- After updating the Key Vault credentials, wait at least 5 minutes to allow the caches to reset.
