What’s happening?
When modifying or adding any audit settings on any table, the table entries are removed and then re-added in the database log.
Reason:
This behavior is design. Enabling a new table for audit or modifying an existing table for audit, triggers an update of the Creation Date and Modification Date for all existing entries.
Resolution:
- Consider exporting the database logs or taking a backup to retain the original timestamps.
- Consult with your internal technical architect to explore the possibility of customizing this behavior to meet your needs.
