What’s happening?

  • Customers are encountering an error message indicating that the server has encountered an error and is either not available or cannot respond at this time.
  • Customers are unable to see tenant data usage for Finance and Operations in the Power Platform Admin Center (PPAC).

Reason:

  • The server error may be due to the cloud-hosted environment's limitations, which restrict direct access for in-depth troubleshooting.
  • The feature for viewing tenant data usage in PPAC has not been activated for certain environments.

Resolution:

  1. For server-related issues:
  2. Verify the server hosting the environment is operational.
  3. Clear the browser's cache and cookies or try accessing the environment in an incognito/private browsing window.
  4. Check if the Application Object Server (AOS) is running and restart it if necessary.
  5. Ensure all services related to Finance and Operations are active.
  6. Investigate any database connectivity issues to ensure the database is reachable.
  7. If custom code or customizations are being executed at startup, disable them to see if they are causing the error.
  8. If the above steps do not resolve the issue, consider deploying a new virtual machine.
  9. For visibility of tenant data usage in PPAC:
  10. Customers should be informed that the feature is currently not available for their environment and that the product team is working on enabling this functionality.
  11. Encourage customers to check for updates regarding the activation of this feature in their environment.
If further assistance is needed, customers should reach out to their technical support representative.
