What’s happening?
When configuring credentials for Finance and Operations Virtual Data Source, users encounter an error stating "maximum characters exceeded" for the Target URL and authentication URL.
 

Reason:
This occurs because the method previously used for setting up virtual entities has changed, and the customer was attempting to configure virtual entities using an outdated method.
 

Resolution:
The process for configuring virtual entities has been updated. When the Power Platform link is enabled through Lifecycle Services (LCS), the configuration steps are automatically completed. Users should follow the updated procedure provided in the official Microsoft documentation:
