What’s happening?
Customers are experiencing issues with triggering business events specifically for designated legal entities. Despite setting the legal entity in the business event catalog, events are being triggered for all entities instead of the specified one.
Reason:
The endpoint names in the business event catalog are assigned new names each time the connection environment is changed in Power Automate. This makes it impossible to identify flows based solely on the endpoint names. Additionally, if the legal entity is not activated in the business event catalog, the selected legal entity in Power Automate may not reflect correctly.
Resolution:
- Verify that the legal entity is selected and activated in the business event catalog within the Finance and Operations (FO) environment.
- Check the settings in Power Automate to ensure that the correct legal entity is specified in the "Valid Entities" field.
- If changes are made to the legal entity in Power Automate, confirm that the endpoint name in FO is updated accordingly.
- Review the trigger settings for each flow to ensure that the correct legal entity is configured.
- If issues persist, consider deactivating and deleting existing configurations in the FO Business Events workspace and reactivating them to resolve potential metadata corruption.
