What’s happening?
Business events are failing with the error message indicating that the user has not been assigned any license, resulting in a response status code of 400.
Reason:
The underlying cause of this is that the user associated with the business events has not been assigned a license, which is necessary for the action to succeed.
Resolution:
- Identify the user ID mentioned in the error message.
- Assign the required license to the user to resolve the issue.
- If the issue persists, ensure that the ownership of any records from the unlicensed or disabled identity is reassigned to a valid identity. This can be done by:
- Navigating to the environment in the Power Platform Admin Center.
- Clicking on "Users."
- Finding the user causing the issue.
- Selecting that user and clicking on the "Reassign records" button in the top navigation.
- Monitor the business events to confirm that they are functioning correctly after the license assignment.
