What’s happening?
Leaders are unable to finalize their team members' performance reviews or goals in D365 Human Resources. When attempting to finalize, users receive a prompt stating, "This will post all the comments that have not been posted yet. Do you wish to continue?" Upon selecting "YES," an error message appears: "argument to method controlnum out of range." This issue also occurs when making updates to the performance review, such as changing dates, significantly disrupting organizational Human Resource processes.
Reason:
This is a known identified in Dynamics 365 Human Resources.
Resolution:
Microsoft has addressed this known in version 10.0.41. Users experiencing this issue should apply the hotfix available by updating 10.0.41 quality update with build number 10.0.2015.87 or later. More details at the following LCS link: Details for issue 963947
Additionally, there is another known issue when finalizing Performance reviews. Question"This will post all the comments that have not been posted yet. Do you wish to continue?" is always asked although there is not any comment. It is fixed in version 10.0.42 quality update with build number 10.0.2095.65. Update to this version to get the solution.
