What’s happening?

After adding an account as a co-owner in a Power Platform flow, the account name appears with a "#" at the end, and the email address displayed is different from the one used during the addition.

Reason:
This arises when the "Name" field in the Microsoft Entra management center is left empty, leading to the addition of a "#" at the end of the account name. Additionally, if the primary email address registered is different from the original email address, it can cause discrepancies in the displayed email address.

Resolution:

  1. Navigate to the Microsoft Entra management center.
  2. Select "Users" and then "All Users."
  3. Click on the relevant account and go to the "Properties" tab.
  4. In the edit screen, ensure that the "Name" field is filled with appropriate text.
  5. Save the changes and refresh the page to confirm that the input has been reflected.
  6. Proceed to the Power Platform management center and update the user by clicking on "Update User" to ensure that the changes from Entra are reflected.
  7. Verify that the primary email address matches the original email address to prevent discrepancies.
  8. After making these changes, attempt to add the account as a co-owner in the flow again and refresh the page to check if the issue persists.
