What’s happening?
After adding an account as a co-owner in a Power Platform flow, the account name appears with a "#" at the end, and the email address displayed is different from the one used during the addition.
Reason:
This arises when the "Name" field in the Microsoft Entra management center is left empty, leading to the addition of a "#" at the end of the account name. Additionally, if the primary email address registered is different from the original email address, it can cause discrepancies in the displayed email address.
Resolution:
- Navigate to the Microsoft Entra management center.
- Select "Users" and then "All Users."
- Click on the relevant account and go to the "Properties" tab.
- In the edit screen, ensure that the "Name" field is filled with appropriate text.
- Save the changes and refresh the page to confirm that the input has been reflected.
- Proceed to the Power Platform management center and update the user by clicking on "Update User" to ensure that the changes from Entra are reflected.
- Verify that the primary email address matches the original email address to prevent discrepancies.
- After making these changes, attempt to add the account as a co-owner in the flow again and refresh the page to check if the issue persists.
