What’s happening?

The customer is unable to create a database in the Power Apps environment due to having 0MB of storage available on their trial account. This limitation prevents them from evaluating the AI Builder functionality that requires Microsoft Dataverse.

Reason:
This arises because there is either no linked Dataverse instance to the PowerApps environment, or the version of the Dataverse instance is not supported.
AI Builder functionalities require Microsoft Dataverse, which requires storage capacity.

Resolution:

  1. Sign in to the Power Platform admin center.
  2. In the navigation pane, select Resources.
  3. Check for a banner indicating low storage capacity. Confirm if the options available are "Enable capacity extension" or "Manage Capacity."
  4. Ensure that a Dataverse instance is linked to the PowerApps environment by verifying the environment settings in the Power Platform admin center or creating a new environment and linking it to a Dataverse instance.
