What’s happening?
How data is processed when using the Microsoft Translator V2 connector within the Power Platform environment, including the geographical aspects of data handling.
Resolution:
- The Microsoft Translator V2 connector is placed within the same region as the Power Platform environment.
- When a request is made from the Power Platform environment, it is processed at the nearest data center to the location from which the request is sent. For example, requests originating from the Japan region are processed at either the East Japan or Southeast Asia data centers.
- The translation processing occurs within the Microsoft Translator service itself.
