What’s happening?
Customers are facing challenges in accessing OData without creating multiple user accounts for different legal entities in Dynamics 365 Finance and Operations (F&O).
 
Reason:
The underlying cause is that Dynamics 365 F&O does not support accessing OData across multiple legal entities without creating separate user accounts.
 
Resolution:
To avoid the overhead of creating multiple user accounts for accessing OData per legal entity, customers can leverage the cross-company=true query parameter in their OData requests. This allows for querying across different legal entities that the authenticated user has access to without the need for multiple service accounts.
