What’s happening?
The SharePoint folder is not being created automatically when users access the document grid in the PowerApps portal. This functionality previously worked as expected but has stopped functioning for portal users over the past two to three months.
Reason:
A recent security improvement to the SharePoint flow has stopped the automatic creation of document location records for users with only read permissions. This change was implemented to prevent potential security risks.
Resolution:
To resolve this, implement the following workaround:
1. Set up a Power Automate flow that uses a Dataverse trigger. Specifically, configure the flow to trigger when a new record is created.
2. Ensure that the flow creates the associated document location record automatically whenever a new record is added.
