What’s happening?
Customers are experiencing connectivity issues between Power Apps and Azure SQL Database configured with Private Endpoints, resulting in authentication failures.
Reason:
Customer's SQL database is blocking calls from IPs used by the Power Platform, customer needs to make sure calls from Power Platform IPs are allowed.
Resolution:
- For connectivity issues, ensure that IP whitelisting is configured correctly: Power Platform URLs and IP address ranges - Power Platform | Microsoft Learn
- If issues persist, consider alternative connection strategies such as using a Virtual Network setup.
