What’s happening?
Recurring appointments are not flagged as recurring in the system and are not being excluded from sync as intended.
Reason:
The functionality appears to be by design, where appointments created as "Recurring" are set as "Appointment" in the "Activity Type" and cannot be excluded from the sync.
Resolution:
- Confirmed with the product team that the behavior is intended and cannot be changed from within the support team.
- Suggested reviewing the documentation for task activities related to appointments.
