What’s happening?
Unable to configure the "Sent receipt" option when using the Outlook action in Power Automate.
Reason:
The Outlook action in Power Automate does not include a 'Sent receipt' option. The available options for the Outlook action are displayed within the action itself, and if the desired option is not listed, there is no alternative workaround to achieve it within Power Automate.
Resolution:
- Using the Power Automate Outlook action, there is currently no supported scenario to include a "Sent Receipt" for this action, and no other workaround is available for the Outlook action.
- Alternatively, the SMTP action could be used and configure with the Outlook SMTP parameters. To create the SMTP connection, navigate to the Power Apps portal, go to Connections, and create a New Connection. Then fill out the connection parameters as required and use this connection to send the SMTP email.
