What’s happening?
Customers are experiencing issues with missing packages in their Power Pages environments, specifically the "CDSBasePortal" package and other related packages.


Reason:
The underlying cause of this is that certain packages were not installed in the UAT and Production environments after the deployment of the environment.


Resolution:

  • The product team has successfully installed the "CDSBasePortal" package into the customer's UAT and Production environments.
  • For missing packages, ensure that the following packages are installed:
    • Power Pages Core
    • Power Pages Blank Template
    • Dynamics 365 Portals Customer Self Service
  • If packages are still missing, verify the environment URL and ensure that the necessary permissions and roles are assigned to the user attempting the installation.
