What’s happening?
OData sources appear with errors after a deployment, OData pages are missing, or OData endpoints return a 404 error after an environment restore.
Reason:
- OData feature has been deprecated.
- Issues may arise due to environment restores not properly configuring OData endpoints.
Resolution:
- For OData sources showing errors after a deployment, it was confirmed that the issue resolved automatically.
- In cases where OData pages are missing, it is recommended to migrate to the Web API instead, as OData is deprecated. Further information on this transition can be found in the relevant documentation.
- For OData endpoints returning a 404 after an environment restore, it is advised to use the Web API moving forward, as the OData feature is no longer supported.
