What’s happening?
"Bad Gateway" error when attempting to use the SFTP-SSH connector in Power Automate, resulting in an inability to establish a connection.
Reason:
This may arise due to incorrect configuration settings, such as missing or incorrect SFTP server address, account credentials, SSH private key, or SSH private key password. Additionally, if the SSH host key validation is enabled, the SSH host key fingerprint must be provided.
Resolution:
- Ensure that the following information is correctly configured:
- SFTP server address
- Account credentials
- SSH private key
- SSH private key password
- If SSH host key validation is enabled, provide the SSH host key fingerprint.
- Verify that the necessary IP addresses for Power Automate services are allowlisted in the server's firewall settings.
- Check if the connection is being blocked by network restrictions or if the server is not supported by the SFTP-SSH connector.
- For further details on authentication and access permissions, refer to the official documentation on SFTP-SSH authentication methods.
