What’s happening?
Customers are experiencing difficulties adding existing site components to their solutions in Dataverse, receiving an error message stating "No response received." This issue appears to occur intermittently and can block functionality in the test environment.
Reason:
This is likely due to a large number of components or the size of the components being added to the solution. When a request is sent to the server, it may take longer than 5 minutes (around 300 seconds) to process, leading to a timeout error. This is considered a design limitation when handling slow requests.
Resolution:
- Reduce the number of components added to the solution at one time to avoid the chance of encountering the "No response received" error.
- Monitor the environment for performance issues and ensure that the network and server are operating optimally.
