Customers are encountering issues with the "Populate a Microsoft Word template" action, specifically related to the inability to use nested repeating section controls within another repeating section control. Additionally, customers are facing challenges in using the Word template connector due to licensing requirements.
Reason:
This with the Word template arises from a limitation in the product that does not allow nested repeating sections. The connector issue is caused by the requirement for a premium license to access the app, which may not be available to the user.
Resolution:
- For this with nested repeating sections, it has been confirmed that this is a by-product limitation, and no further action can be taken to resolve it.
- For the connector issue, customers need to purchase a Power Apps premium license to access the app. After obtaining the license, ensure that the pass assignment toggle is turned on and verify with the user that everything is functioning correctly. Additionally, check the app passes capacity for the environment with the app being shared to ensure sufficient app passes are assigned for the number of users.
