What’s happening?
Customers are experiencing difficulties accessing Dataverse when using PowerApps, resulting in errors related to insufficient permissions for multiple tables.
Reason:
The underlying cause of this is that the necessary permissions for the user to access the required tables in Dataverse have not been assigned.
Resolution:
- Verify that the user has been assigned a custom security role or the System Customizer role that includes permissions for the required tables.
- If the necessary roles are not assigned, allocate the appropriate roles to the user and allow time for the changes to take effect.
- For users who may need to create apps, consider copying the System Customizer role and modifying it to restrict creation permissions while still granting necessary access.
- Access the Power Platform admin center, navigate to the "Environment" tab, and check the assigned security roles for the user under the "Access" section.
