Customers are experiencing prolonged provisioning states for their sites, specifically receiving messages indicating that "The content delivery network is being set up for this site" for over 24 hours. This impacts the performance and delivery of the site.
Reason:
The underlying cause of this may relate to the configuration settings in the Power Platform admin center, particularly concerning the Content Delivery Network (CDN) setup. It has been noted that enabling the CDN requires specific administrative privileges, and if these are not correctly assigned, it can lead to delays in provisioning.
Resolution:
- Ensure that the user attempting to enable the CDN has the necessary permissions, specifically being a Power Pages administrator.
- Check for any ongoing issues or maintenance activities with the CDN provider that may be causing delays.
- Review the configuration settings in the Power Platform admin center to ensure they are correctly set up.
- Clear the cache, as this can sometimes resolve setup issues.
