What’s happening?
Customers are facing challenges with the deletion of disabled users and the management of records they own.
Reason:
When a user is deleted from the Microsoft 365 admin center, their status is set to Disabled in Power Platform environments. This can lead to confusion regarding the deletion process and the ownership of records.
Resolution:
Users deleted from the Microsoft 365 admin center can remain in Power Platform environments with a Disabled status.
To permanently delete these users:
- Ensure that the user is first soft deleted in Microsoft Entra ID.
- Reassign all records owned by the user to another user from the User settings page.
- Enable the "Delete disabled users" feature setting in the Power Platform admin center.
