What’s happening?
Customers are experiencing issues with uploading images within the Customer Insights application on CRM.
Reason:
This is with image uploads appears to be related to the type of field being used in the database. In some cases, users were attempting to upload images to a file type field instead of an image type field, leading to inconsistencies in behavior.
Resolution:
For Image Upload Issues:
- Verify the type of field being used for image uploads in the database. Ensure that an image type field is being utilized rather than a file type field.
- Check the settings in the Dynamics environment to confirm that the file extensions are not blocked. Navigate to:
- Dynamics Settings > Advanced settings > System Administration > General
