What’s happening?
A request was received from an internal agency consultant to gain permissions to monitor all requests under the departments associated with the agency. When attempting to add the user to multiple teams to enable access to all departments, an error message was displayed indicating that the user could not be added due to system limitations.
Reason:
The underlying cause of this is that, according to the current design logic of the system, a user can only be a member of one parent or child business unit. This limitation results in the error encountered when trying to add the user to multiple teams.
