What’s happening?
When sending emails through Microsoft Dynamics, the font size appears standard in the application, but recipients view the font as smaller in Microsoft Outlook.
Reason:
This is primarily observed in the email headers (From, To, CC, BCC) after several replies. It affects multiple users and is seen mainly in internal communications. The behavior is expected and is reproduced on all vanilla organizations, indicating it may be by design.
Resolution:
- Confirm that the font size in Dynamics and Outlook is the same by checking the font size using Microsoft Word.
- If the font size differs, users can manually change the font in Outlook when replying to emails.
- For emails sent via a Power Automate flow using templates, ensure that the templates are configured correctly.
- Refer to the official article on how to change the default font settings in Dynamics: Set the default font to 11-point Calibri.
- If further assistance is needed for customization, consider reaching out to a Microsoft Partner or a solution architect.
