What’s happening?
The customer is experiencing difficulty locating two specific reports in Dynamics 365: the gross margin by customer summary report and the gross margin by customer detail report.
 

Reason:
The "Gross Margin by Customer" report is specifically limited to Legal Entities with country region codes of US and CA only. Therefore, it may not be visible in Legal Entities outside these regions.
 

Resolution:

  1. Navigate to Sales and marketing > Inquiries and reports > Customer statistics > Gross margin by customer.
  2. If looking for a summary report, ensure that the Summary option is enabled. If this option is not enabled, the system will generate a detailed report instead.
  3. Refresh the entity store named “Sales cube” by navigating to System administration > Setup > Entity Store > Sales cube > Refresh.
  4. Navigate to Organization administration > Setup > Date dimensions and ensure that the proper date range is set.
  5. Go to Maintenance Mode and check the License configuration under D365 > Retail to ensure the default options are ticked.
If the issue persists, verify with the system administrator to ensure that the roles have the correct security configuration to access the reports.
