What’s happening?
The deployment of the CHE - 10.0.41 environment fails with the error: "Script [Run-CommandMROneBoxRunDVT] failed execution against VM."
 

Reason:
The failure is related to a known issue with the deployments of fresh CHE environments with the service update 10.0.41. This is documented under bug 955454.
 

Resolution:

  1. Workaround Option 1: Do not customize the SQL database configuration (leave demo data). You can still overwrite with database import.
  2. Workaround Option 2: Deploy version 10.0.40 first and then upgrade to 10.0.41. This method has been reported to be successful for most users.
  3. If the issue persists, it may be due to SQL blocking, which can be a transient issue. Retry the deployment possibly with the recommended VM sizes of d13v2 or DS13v2.
