What’s happening?
The customer is experiencing issues with orphan records in the Consolidation Module, which are impacting the Trial Balance. The customer has requested assistance to run specific scripts on the Production environment to clean these orphan records.


Reason:
This arises from the presence of approximately 500 orphan records in the Consolidation Module that are affecting the Trial Balance, even though they do not actually exist.


Resolution:

  1. The customer has been provided with two scripts by the Microsoft Support team to clean the orphan records. These scripts have been tested in the UAT environment and were successful in cleaning newly generated orphan data.
  2. The customer needs to run these scripts on the Production environment. Since they do not have a development instance to create a deployable package, they require immediate assistance from Microsoft to execute the scripts directly in Production.
