What’s happening?
Looking to understand the implications of deleting a trial site from one environment and whether it affects the presence of the same site in another environment. Additionally, inquiries about extending the trial period and converting a trial site to production while retaining the ability to make changes are common.
Reason:
The deletion of a trial site does not delete customizations such as web pages, forms, and lists that are stored in Dataverse.
Resolution:
- The trial site cannot be extended.
- Deleting a trial site will not impact the presence of the same site in another environment.
- Once a license is purchased, the trial site can be converted to a production site, and changes can still be made to the site post-conversion.
