What’s happening?
Customers are seeking to retrieve the last login details of users in Azure AD B2C and Power Apps, as well as generate reports based on user login sessions.
Reason:
The feature for checking login history directly in Dynamics 365 has been deprecated. Currently, login records can only be accessed through Azure AD sign-in logs or Power Platform Admin settings.
Resolution:
To check the last login details and generate reports based on user login sessions, follow these steps:
For Azure AD B2C:
- Navigate to the Azure portal at https://portal.azure.com/.
- Search for "Entra ID" and select it.
- Click on "Manage" → "Users."
- Select the user you want to check.
- Click on "Sign-in logs" to view the login history details.
- Go to the Power Platform Admin Center.
- Open your environment and select "Settings."
- Under "Audit and logs," open "Audit summary view."
- Enable the filter in the Event column and filter for "User Access." You will see all users who have logged into your application.
- In the Power Platform Admin Center, navigate to "Resources" → "Capacity."
- Select "Download reports" and choose "Portal logins" to submit and download the report.
