What’s happening?
The document grid in the "Request" portal does not load without a prior update in the corresponding CRM entity, preventing customers from downloading files. Documents created or uploaded from the portal are not immediately visible until the specific grid in CRM is refreshed.


Reason:
The visibility of the document grid in the portal is dependent on whether the corresponding document grid in Dynamics CRM has been previously loaded or updated at least once. If the grid in CRM has not been loaded, the document grid in the portal will not display.


Resolution:

  • Ensure that the document grid in the CRM entity "Request" is loaded or updated at least once before attempting to view documents in the portal.
  • If the issue persists, adjust the path where the files uploaded to SharePoint will be stored to allow for immediate visibility of documents in the portal without needing prior updates in CRM.
