What’s happening?
Customers are experiencing intermittent access issues to a portal, receiving errors regardless of the browser used. The error messages include "Could not load file or assembly 'Adxstudio.Xrm.Resources' or one of its dependencies" and "Strong name signature could not be verified."
Reason:
The underlying cause of this appears to be related to the assembly 'Adxstudio.Xrm.Resources' not being loaded correctly, which may indicate that the assembly has been tampered with or is not fully signed with the correct private key.
Resolution:
When this occurs, collect the following information:
- Run the site checker and share the results; a screenshot is acceptable. Instructions for running the site checker can be found in the documentation.
- Restart the site and check if the issue persists.
- Purge the cache to see if that resolves the issue.
- Verify that the Dynamics organization URL associated with the portal has not changed.
- Ensure that the application user exists in the Dataverse Organization where the website is created. Use the site checker to confirm this.
- Check if the Dataverse Organization is up and running and not in administration mode. If it is in administration mode, disable it from the Power Platform Administration.
