What’s happening?
Customers are experiencing issues where the Power Apps per app plan license they purchased is not appearing for user assignment. Additionally, there are reports of Power Apps per user licenses being automatically assigned to users, even after manual removal.
Reason:
The underlying cause for the license not appearing for assignment is that Power Apps per app plans are assigned to environments rather than individual users. This can lead to confusion regarding user access. For the automatic assignment issue, it has been identified that the auto claim feature for licenses may be enabled, causing licenses to be reassigned automatically.
Resolution:
- For this the Power Apps per app plan license not appearing for user assignment:
- Ensure that the license has been properly assigned to the correct environment in the Power Platform admin center.
