What’s happening?
The customer inquired about obtaining turn-by-turn driving directions in a canvas app map, in addition to just showing the route.
Reason:
The canvas app map control can display routes but does not support turn-by-turn navigation as a regular mapping app does.
Resolution:
- User should only use Map control to see a bird's eye view of the route, not use it for step by step navigation
- If the user needs step by step navigation, they should use another solution because this is not supported by the Map canvas control
