What’s happening?
User has shared a view with another user but the other user cannot access it. They get an error about missing the "prvRead<table name>" privilege for the affected "<table name>" table.

Reason:
The other user does not have read privilege to the table whose view was shared, or to the view itself.

Resolution:

  • Verify the user's privileges for the affected table.
  • Add the read privilege to the user's role or team.
  • After updating the privileges, attempt to share the view again by following these steps:
    1. Go to the desired view.
    2. Navigate to Manage and Share Views.
    3. Select the view and click on Share.
    4. Choose the user with whom you want to share the view.
    5. Ensure that Read is checked, for the privileges you want to grant to the user.
    6. Click on Share.
