What’s happening?
User has shared a view with another user but the other user cannot access it. They get an error about missing the "prvRead<table name>" privilege for the affected "<table name>" table.
Reason:
The other user does not have read privilege to the table whose view was shared, or to the view itself.
Resolution:
- Verify the user's privileges for the affected table.
- Add the read privilege to the user's role or team.
- After updating the privileges, attempt to share the view again by following these steps:
- Go to the desired view.
- Navigate to Manage and Share Views.
- Select the view and click on Share.
- Choose the user with whom you want to share the view.
- Ensure that Read is checked, for the privileges you want to grant to the user.
- Click on Share.
