What’s happening?
Users are experiencing inconsistent functionality with the Timeline Attachment Preview feature. Some users can preview PDF attachments, while others encounter a blank screen when attempting to open PDF files.


Reason:
The attachment preview feature relies on the browser's built-in PDF viewer. For example, Microsoft Edge supports this feature by default, while Chrome does not.


Resolution:
To resolve this, for Chrome browser:

  1. From Chrome, click â‹® > Settings > Privacy and security > Site settings > Additional content settings > PDF documents
  2. Enable Open PDFs in Chrome
You can also consider using Microsoft Edge browser, as PDF are supported natively.
