What’s happening?
Users are unable to add co-owned Power Automate flows to their PowerApps, receiving error messages related to missing permissions for one or more connections within the flow. Additionally, there are instances where the "Run Flow" panel fails to load co-owners.
Reason:
This arises from a change in how PowerApps handles connections for co-owned flows. Each user must now have their own authenticated connections to the services used in the flow, rather than inheriting the owner's connections. This change was introduced around late 2024.
Resolution:
For users encountering permission errors when adding a co-owned flow:
- The user must go back to the flow and change the connections to their own, re-authenticating if necessary.
- Ensure that all connections used in the flow are active and that the user has the necessary permissions to access them.
