Applies to Product - Power Platform Administration
What’s happening?
Users are unable to create new developer environments in Power Platform Admin, receiving an error message indicating that they have reached the limit of developer environments, despite having deleted previous environments.
Reason:
This may arise from the soft-deletion process of environments, which takes up to 7 days before they are permanently deleted. During this period, the deleted environments may still count towards the user's limit of three developer environments.
Resolution:
- Verify the number of developer environments currently associated with the user. If the user has deleted environments, ensure that they are no longer visible in the Power Platform Admin section.
- If the deleted environments are still within the soft-deletion period, advise the user to permanently delete them to free up space for new environments.
- If the user continues to experience issues, suggest clearing the browser cache and cookies, as this may affect the visibility of environments in the Power Platform Admin.
