What’s happening?
Unable to visualize the configured gateway in Power BI when using Power Automate. This issue arises when the gateway is installed in a different region than the environment in which Power Automate is being accessed.
 

Reason:
The underlying cause of this is that the gateway is installed in a region that does not match the environment of Power Automate. Specifically, if the gateway is installed in one region (e.g., US) and the Power Automate environment is set to another region (e.g., South America), the gateway will not be visible.
 

Resolution:

  • Confirm the region of the installed gateway and the environment of Power Automate.
  • If the gateway is in a different region than the Power Automate environment, you need to either:
    • Change the region of the existing gateway to match the Power Automate environment.
    • Alternatively, create a new environment in the same region as the gateway to ensure compatibility.
    • For changing the gateway region, you may need to uninstall and reinstall the gateway, selecting the appropriate region during installation.
