What’s happening?
Customers are experiencing issues with the Copilot sending extra messages as replies without using the "Send message" action, and the Copilot not sending emails when triggered by specific events.
Reason:
- The extra messages are generated due to inconsistent behavior in the AI's response mechanism, where it sometimes fails to recognize that a user query has already been answered.
- The email trigger issue arises when the Copilot is set to respond to new emails but does not automatically send the email response unless prompted manually.
Resolution:
- For this of extra messages, customers can try updating their agent to send the message answering the question as a separate message instead of including it in the adaptive card. This workaround is expected to mitigate the duplicate message issue.
- For the email trigger issue, it is recommended to customize the payload instructions in the Power Automate flow to ensure that the action to send an email is properly triggered when a new email arrives. This can be done by adjusting the prompt message in the flow action "Sends a prompt to Copilot for processing."
- If the above steps do not resolve the issues, customers should wait for further updates from the product team regarding ongoing fixes and improvements.
