What’s happening?
Customers are unable to link Power Automate flows to Premium Planner Boards. The Premium Planner Boards do not appear in the dropdown menu of the Planner connector, and attempts to custom link using the Board ID result in errors.

Reason:
This is identified as a by-design limitation where Power Automate only supports the basic plans for Microsoft Planner. Premium plans are not compatible with the Planner connector in Power Automate.

Resolution:

  • To maintain the integration with Power Automate, it is recommended to downgrade the Planner from Premium to Basic. This allows the integration to function as expected.
  • If the customer has already upgraded to a Premium plan, they may need to manually recreate their plans in a Basic plan to restore functionality with Power Automate.
  • For further assistance, customers can refer to the official documentation on Planner connectors provided by Microsoft.
