Applies to Product – Power Pages

What’s happening?
Customers are unable to access the detailed information of case entity records on Power Pages, receiving notifications that they do not have permission to access the data.

Reason:
The underlying cause of this appears to be related to insufficient permissions for users to access the case entity in the Power Pages environment.

Resolution:

  1. Verify if the user attempting to access the case details has sufficient table permissions.
  2. Go to the Power Pages maker and click on the security button.
  3. Review all table permissions in the Power Pages and identify which roles have the necessary permissions and the type of permissions assigned. In this example, add a permission for the case entity
  4. Bind the necessary roles to this permission.
  5. Click sync on the top right corner.
  6. Log in using the same account in an InPrivate browser window to check if the issue persists.
