What’s happening?
The process mining feature for dektop flows is failing on every run across multiple environments, including DEV and PROD.


Reason:
The failure is attributed to the 'shared_webcontents' connection being blocked by the Data Loss Prevention (DLP) policy.


Resolution:

  • Adjust the DLP policy to allow the 'shared_webcontents' connection.
  • Ensure that the process is using standard installation of the Power Automate Process Mining desktop app.
  • Follow the instructions for enabling cloud computing for Process Mining capabilities as outlined in the Microsoft documentation.
  • Test the process with other desktop flows to determine if the issue is specific to one flow or affects all flows.
  • Create a new desktop flow and attempt the same process to see if the error persists.
  • If the issue persists, gather the following information to assist in troubleshooting:
    • Screenshot of the error.
    • Details on when the issue was first observed.
    • Reproduction steps.
    • Source Environment ID and Target Environment.
