What’s happening?
Operations against Azure Key Vault fail with a 403 error, indicating that the connector IP address is not authorized to call the vault. This issue arises when the firewall on the vault is configured to restrict access.
Reason:
The underlying cause of this is that the IP addresses or ranges from which the Power Automate flow sends requests to the Azure Key Vault are not allowlisted in the Key Vault's firewall settings.
Resolution:
- Ensure that the IP addresses or ranges used by the Power Automate flow are included in the Azure Connectors IP ranges for your geographical location.
- Download the Azure IP and Service Tags documentation from the official Microsoft site to obtain the necessary IP addresses.
- Check the service tags associated with your environment and ensure that the relevant IP addresses are whitelisted in the Azure Key Vault firewall settings.
- For further details, refer to the documentation on IP address configuration for Power Automate and Azure Key Vault.
