What’s happening?
The activity data template for Scope 3: category 1 generated from the supplier value chain portal does not include the "Product or item" column, which is essential for calculating emissions for each product consumed.
Reason:
By design.
Resolution:
- Absence of the "Product or item" column is currently an expected behavior of the product.
- Suggested raising an enhancement request through the ideas portal, where customers can voice their concerns and enhancement needs. The request will be addressed based on community interest and feasibility.
- For the Emissions Insights under Scope 2, if toggling between Location-based and another accounting method does not change the value, check how the 'alternate result basis' is defined for those records.
- It is recommended to remove any custom dashboards and try the out-of-the-box version to see if it provides the desired behavior for Scope 2 emissions.
