What’s happening?
The customer is requesting location-based emission data for specific regions (west and north Europe) on a monthly basis for baselining purposes.
Reason:
The location-based emission data is not currently exposed through the Azure Carbon Optimization service.
Resolution:
- The customer should be informed that the requested location-based emission data is not available at this time.
- Suggest the customer to use the Azure carbon optimization emission data and insights available through the Azure portal.
- Advise the customer to check the emissions details page from the left panel in the Azure portal, which provides a breakdown of carbon emissions by Subscription, Resource groups, Resources, Services, and Location.
- The product team is actively working on a fix, and updates will be communicated as they become available.
