What’s happening?
The bank statement import functionality through SharePoint is not operational, preventing bank files from being imported into the finance system.
Reason:
The authentication mechanism used to integrate with SharePoint is being deprecated. The current Microsoft-managed high-trust connection is no longer supported, and a new SharePoint user authentication feature is required.
Resolution:
- Migrate to the new SharePoint authentication feature, which is available in Dynamics 365 Finance version 10.0.40 and mandatory in version 10.0.42.
- Ensure that the migration to the new authentication occurs by the specified deadline, as the current SharePoint connection will stop working after that date.
