What’s happening?
Customers are unable to enable the Content Delivery Network (CDN) due to pending validation of a custom domain. An error message indicates that a TXT record must be added to the domain DNS for validation.
 

Reason:
This arises when the custom domain is not validated before associating it with the endpoint and routes. This validation process typically requires the addition of a TXT record to the domain's DNS settings.
 

Resolution:

  1. Ensure that the custom domain has been correctly configured with an SSL certificate and CNAME record.
  2. Wait for 24 to 48 hours after adding the custom domain to the DNS for the changes to propagate and be recognized.
  3. If the error persists, check the DNS settings to confirm that the required TXT record for domain validation has been added.
