What’s happening?
Customers are experiencing problems with Arabic fonts not printing correctly on receipts. The Arabic text appears properly on the screen but is misaligned or not displayed correctly when printed.

Reason:
The underlying cause of this is related to the configuration of the printer and the support for Arabic fonts in the printing system. Specific font settings may not be properly configured, or the printer may not support the required Arabic font formats.

Resolution:

  • Ensure that the printer is configured to support the Arabic character set (e.g., code page 1256).
  • Verify that the correct printer model is being used and that it is compatible with the Arabic font requirements.
  • Check the hardware profile settings to ensure that the printer is correctly assigned and configured.
  • If using the Android Store Commerce app, confirm that the app is set up to handle Arabic text correctly.
  • Customers may need to consult the printer's support documentation or contact the printer manufacturer for specific font settings.
